Tray End-Grain Ash

This Ash wood tray was turned on the end grain so the tree's rings are featured. This tray has been fire treated almost entirely, which emphasises and deepens the grain. This technique is called Yakisugi and it also makes wood more durable and water resistant.

Beautifully rustic and repurposed piece, finished with food safe mineral oil.

Care instructions: Wash quickly by hand, if necessary use a mild detergent. Do not soak in water. Dry immediately with a towel and allow to air dry thoroughly. Use ReWood Nourishing Butter to rejuvenate and protect longevity.
